About The Product 

Roof Protect High Build Platinum Primer is manufactured using a blended styrene acrylic for maximum adhesion.

This product is designed with a high solids content of fillers and pigments to cover and help fill imperfections in the tiles.

This primer is a maximum high build with properties that create a solid barrier that not only builds up the surface of the tile, while also providing a surface coverage to block previous colour and any absorption of calcium salts from the concrete tile.

This primer coat forms a protective layer between the tiles and the roof membrane allowing the best look for your roof restoration.

The surface Platinum Primer helps the roofing membrane show its best qualities for a far longer period.

Coverage

The coverage is approximately six square metres per litre. Available in 15 litre drums.

Clean Up

Platinum Primer is easily cleaned up using water.

Install

1. Inspection: A professional will inspect the roof to determine its condition and identify any issues or areas that require attention.
2. Cleaning: The roof will be thoroughly cleaned using a high-pressure cleaner to remove dirt, debris, and other contaminants. This process may include using anti-mould or other cleaning agents as needed.
3. Repairs: Any damaged areas or leaks will be repaired, such as replacing broken tiles, fixing flashing, repointing and resealing any gaps or cracks.
4. Priming: One coat of primer may be applied to the surface to ensure good adhesion of the coating.
5. Coating: 2 coats of Roof Protect roof coating will be applied to the surface using airless spray equipment, ensuring the coating is applied evenly and in the correct thickness.
6. Finishing touches: Once the coating is applied, any necessary finishing touches will be made, such as painting trim and flashing or adding anti-slip features to walkways.
